Central Montana Area:
Central Montana has a wide variety of outdoor activities. Big Spring Creek, Judith River, Missouri River, Crystal Lake, Warm Spring Creek, Ackley Lake, Petrolia Lake, and Fort Peck Lake are the main sources of water for fishing and recreation. Besides the water sources, there are five area mountain ranges that provide a variety of hunting and other forms of recreation. The Central Montana area has quality agricultural land with reliable production of hay, small grains, and cattle.
The Lewistown Divide Ranch encompasses a total of 440 deeded acres, the owners are offering to split the property if there is a desire for only 300 deeded acres. The Department of Revenue indicates with the 44o deeded acres that 90 +/- acres of forest land, 350 +/- acres of grazing. The present agricultural use has been primarily focused on cattle grazing. The ranch could easily support 50 cow/calf pair during the summer grazing months.
Livestock water for the ranch comes from reservoirs and developed springs. The home has improved water from a developed spring as well.
In a private setting off the county road surrounded by mature trees is the main buildings. The home was built in 1943 and includes 3 Bedrooms and 1 Bath.
