Montana Mountain Lion

Often times we end our days surrounded by the beauty of our own property.
A family outing turned into a once in a lifetime viewing!

This magnificent mountain lion was spotted in one of our alfalfa fields. The lion was unfazed by the presence of us and not spooked by the ranger. Wanting to document the experience and get better photos Todd called Landon.  Landon hopped the fence with his drone and carefully flew near the lion. He was careful as to not scare or harass the beast in its habitat. The wind was strong this day and helped shelter the noise of the drone. Wind and zoom capabilities allowed Landon to get relatively close without affecting the lion.  This was our first time seeing a lion in the wild and it was memorable!
